On top of this, they can also carry out missions where they gather materials for you and craft different items. These companions are not just robots that follow you around, they forge relationships with your character. You can choose to give them gifts, or even form romantic relationships with your companions.

Space combat is another exciting aspect of the gaming experience. It’s a lot like an interactive movie. Ships are unique to each class and can be upgraded over time. Upgraded ships are needed to complete advanced space combat dailies. Flashpoints are another great feature of the game. These are much like the dungeons found in other MMORPGs. They involve boss fights and epic loot. Star Wars: The Old Republic also has PVP (player versus player) Warzones, which are a lot like the battlegrounds found in World of Warcraft. Opposing factions attempt to complete certain objectives.
